every one said that the mac is better for the DJ/music. but i just made and Alienware laptop and it dose everything i could ever want it to do. HD video 8gig of ram and Front side bus that puts macs to shame. HD video, and audio... using windows 7 i have had no problems with any of my serato or and of my other programs.. and i have read that macs are less prone to crash but if you take care your laptop then ya its going to crash and the apple will to.. so to me when it comes right down to its just what the DJ likes using not the brand of pc...
