dizzy, confused, tongue tingles along outer sides, and metallic taste

I got up to answer the phone and started coughing and then I felt very dizzy, everything was going dark, my tongue tingled on the outer edges, and I felt like I had been sucking on a nail. I have been under severe stress these past few days, I do smoke but breath ok. I'm 38, 5'2
