Dizziness and slight loss of feeling after taking indomethacin?

Yesterday, I went to my family doctor to check up on my foot pain and he prescribed indomethacin to help kill off the pain while taking my blood to test for uric acid levels.

However, I found that after taking the pill, I started to feel slightly dizzy and my head just feels tired, along with some feeling loss.

Is this normal? Should I continue with the drug (3 times a day)?

Welcome to the boards, James . . . I have a home edition prescription book, so I looked this up for you.

Dizziness and fatigue are listed under common symptoms while numbness and tingling of legs, arms, hands and feet are under less common symptoms.

It says to stop taking the drug and contact your doctor immediately if you get wheezing or difficulty breathing, vomiting blood, tarry stools or decreased urine output.

I hope these side effects ease up for you, but if they do not or they get worse, let your doctor know.

Let us know how you do!

Lindaru :)
