DIY photo wedding guest book... how to keep guests from writing in the

photo area of the page? I bought an 8x8, 24page photo album and plan to use it as my guest book. It's nothing more than 8x8 white sheets of bound scrapbook paper.

I'll have a photo taken of each family as they arrive and later print the photos and place them on the proper pages. On each page, the guests will write something to me and my fiance. How do I keep our guests from writing a book or writing so large that I won't be able to add their pic later?

Should I draw a 4x6 rectangle on each page and write "do not write" on it? Should I have 4x6 cardboard cutout that my guests can place on the page and write around? Should I have index cards for them to write on and then mount the index cards as well as the pictures later?

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

The 4x6 rectangle with "Do Not Write In This Area. Thank you!" would be sufficient enough. Maybe you could write a poem or some sort of instructions on the first page of the book that tells guests where to write the congratulations.

Put a rectangle the size of the pictures on each page and write, "Your photo will go here".

If you want a guest book attendant, you can assign that task to someone. Personally, I've always hated that stupid task. lol. But I was never at a wedding where it was really necessary. People know how to sign their names in a book. Yours is a special situation, though.
