Divorce for financial reasons?

My husband is going to be sued. The Plantiffs will win. Should we get a divorce very quickly so I'm not on the rope for his lawsuit? This is in the millions. Is my pay going to be garnished and all that stuff if we stay married? Marital debt. I love him, but he effed up. We've been together 20 years and I make more money then he will ever see.
 
Much as I hate to recommend an attorney, you might need to ask that question..... i.e., will a divorce separate your assets from his?

The other side may simply state that you and he divorced to protect your assets, and that might be declared invalid.
