a QILDRO what can be done? My divorce was final Dec 1993 and states benefits to my ex are to be paid based on the "Hunt Formula" but, the law for Illinois police and IMRF plans recognize QILDROs. What can be done? I was married for 205 months, but only 133 months of this time did I participate in the plan during the marriage. I continued to work another 209 months and contribute to this plan after the divorce. Do I figure my denominator based on the number of months of participation into the plan up to the divorce or up to the day I retired?
How do I figure the QILDRO? And if the divorce decree states my ex is entitled to a benefit under the QDRO but the pension plan only recognizes QILDRO what do we need to do?
