Has anyone seen this film? I saw it on Friday, it stars David Belle (the founder of Parkour) and Cyril Raffaelli (Kiss of the Dragon)
There is a chase scene in it with David Belle that is absolutely amazing. It is a French film with English subtitles.

Set in the Paris Slums, District 13 is a walled area where crime boss Taha runs the streets. Leito (Belle) wants Taha's selling of drugs off the streets near his apartment block. When K-2 kidnaps Leito's sister Lola he vows to get his revenge. Meanwhile a neutron weapon is stolen from the Police authorities and they recruit Damien (Raffaelli) to get it back. The neutron bomb is set on a timer for 24 hours and the police want Damien to recruit the knowledge of Leiot as no-one else knows the scheme of District 13 better than him. An adrenaline rush right from the off.................Thoroughly recommended.
 
Yeah I had heard really good things about District 13 as my friend went to see it over the weekend and loved it. It is on in my local Cineworld cinema at the moment so i think I will go and see it before they stop showing it!
 
Just watched this and thought it was pretty good. I like the style of the fighting. It's more bare bones that many martial arts films of the last decade apart from a select few such as Ong Bak and the like.


Also a bonus to see Dany Verissimo. Aparently the role was made for her as the director is a fan. Who wouldn't be if you have seen some of her more *cough* ahem... adult work :o;)
