Disputing an item on my credit report?

If I dispute an item on my credit report[from ex: Equifax]and it is fixed/eliminated,will it be adjusted on the other two credit reporting bureaus?
 
It depend on who you dispute the account with.

If you dispute the account with the individual credit bureau then no it will not automatically be resolved with the other 2.

If however you dispute the account with the original creditor the Fair Credit Reporting Act (Federal law) requires them to notify all 3 credit bureaus if the account can not be verified as correct.
