Display flickers if power cord is in?

My screen begins to flicker if i put the power cord in my phone (N80). It stops not until i put the cable off.
What could be wrong?

sounds like lack of EMI shielding to me.

I see this too, but only under certain conditions that I haven't been able to figure out.
