I need to display an image using a gray colormap and colorbar, with the maximum and minimum gray levels corresponding to the maximum and minimum brightnesses in the image. I think I know how to find the maximum and minimum gray levels corresponding to the maximum and minimum brightnesses in the image. Can someone help me with the colormap and colorbar operations?
