I just took ownership of my house today and noticed the previous owner left the BEV dish on the roof. I was going to go with rogers but is there any value to the dish???

Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by value - do you mean if you take it down and try to sell it? Not much.

If you mean for programming value, you can take a look at BEV's website to see what they offer and for how much.

Please help us out with what you meant. Also please put your location into your user profile so that we can offer the best advice.

If you remove the dish and try to sell it on the internet you could get around 25-40$.

If you live in an area were there is lots of cottage (or second residence) or a trailer park your chances of selling it are greater, you might sell it to someone who wants to use it for their second residence.

Part of Bells "move" plan is to encourage people to leave their old dish behind and they will install a new dish for free at their new house. This eases a potential install at the old location (new location in your case).

You can either make use of Bells services or not. If you do not, then the dish now belongs to you. Leave it where it is, store it, throw it away, give it away, sell it, the choice is yours.

You will find that since this is the ExpressVu forum, most pople will likely say "Sign up" LOL

:)

If it mounted to roof itself, use care removing it, as you don't want to cause more damage to the roof, and create a possible leak
If you want it down, try and do it in the summer, when you can patch any holes with a little more ease
