..."necessary" accessories? I've written here before and Ive gotten some great feedback. I've read backward and forward about refractors vs. reflectors vs. catadiotropics. I've read reviews. I've seen pictures. Tell me. What is YOUR favorite type and why. I'm looking for quality optics over saving money, I'm looking for portability over ease of use. I can set up anything difficult, I'm not confining myself to "beginner" scopes. I just have come away with the idea that a schmidt-cassegrain is the higher quality scope, that the refractor is probably the lowest, but is that correct? Also, what eyepeice is your favorite and why? MM and manufacturer. Any other accessories? I know an AC adapter is a must for a computerized scope, which I'm leaning toward.
