Discuss the meaning on Sankhya Philosophy as a dualistic realism?

Sankhya consists of two kinds of perceptions: Indeterminate perceptions and determinate perceptions.

Indeterminate perceptions are merely impressions without understanding or knowledge. They reveal no knowledge of the form or the name of the object. There is only external awareness about an object. There is cognition of the object, but no discriminative recognition

In very simplistic terms, without doing your homework and the prerequisite reading, you have an indeterminate perception of the material you need to know. Your teacher will most likely reach the determinate perception that you are lazy and undeserving of a passing grade.

In other words, being handed an answer without expending any effort to understand it is not equivalent to receiving an education or achieving wisdom.
