Discuss the dramatic significance of the title ‘The Crucible’.?
I have to write an essay answering the question 'Discuss the dramatic significance of the title ‘The Crucible’. I
am seem to be suffering from writers block and i am struggling to think and structure the ideas. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions and help.

I am going to link the definitions of the word 'crucible' to the ideas and themes in the play.
For example: A crucible is a vessel made if material that does not melt easily in which materials can be heated to very high temperatures. The pressure of very high temperatures of the crucible would result in chemical reactions. This links to the play because the pressure of witchcraft results in many being tested with regards to their faith and put on trial for witchcraft.

I have to link the question to:
- constraints in the Salem society (theocratic society)
- How Miller imitates the Crucible through a series of claustrophobic settings
- Link answers to how miller does this.

I would really appreciate any suggestions and ideas so i can get a overview of how to structure and what to write in my essay. All your help is very much appreciated.
