Lets assume that Canada, US, and Mexico have decided to form some type of coalition for currency coordination.

The question of the "Amero" currency has come up in international nafta (north american free trade agreement ) talks
the problem is
The US wants Canada and Mexico to give up some sovereignty
rights
want it based on the US dollar which is on the boarder of collapse due to the huge american debt
there is no upside to a north american currency for canada , it would make more sense to go to the british pound than a north american currency
Right now as it sits the Canadian Dollar is actually more stable than the US dollar, due to Canada's economic policies, debt load per citezen , gdp, and federal annual budget surplus's.
Also did you know the US government doesnt issue its own money?
A Corporation does , a conglomerate of US banks own the federal reserve , makes you feel confident doesnt it?
