not only does the wood get hurt, but what about all of the biological stuff that depend on the wood? then air pollution get bad and local tribesmen got to deal with the concept of a flashlight before they can even go into a major city.
 
you need to cut down trees in order to make and process wood. but, this hurts the environment as more and more trees are cut down. rain forests and other habitats are destroyed. animals are left without homes, and they end up dying. but, economically we need wood and paper so we need to make a decision.
