...that has defended charged? A complaint was filed with the Hawaii Civil Rights Commission back in 2006, it came to light during process that lead investigator was married to a lawyer who was doing work for firm that had represented charged HMO but not yet admitted to Hawaii to practice. As soon as decision was made, not in complaintant's favor, she became "Of counsel" for firm and was listed as admitted to Hawaii to practice.
They seem to have divorced at this point. I wonder if her change in status, his statement relayed to us that "he would personally handle this" during the investigation was more than coincidence.He seemed to have left his position quite quickly and brings questions of possible impropriety leading to his departure. Is there a statute of limitations on government/state decisions that turn out to be questionably made after facts come out?
