discount on upgrading phone

i previously had the motorola v265, and before that the 262, (i broke them both from water damage, fyi one drop of water on those kinRAB of phone and they are fried) aslo ive hadcricket for over a year and ive became quite friendly with some of the workers at the store near me. when i went to get a new phone (the kyocera slider remix) the guy told me i was eligible for a $20 discount and no activation or switchover fees or any of that other bs because ive been a customer for over a year and ive never been shut off... i'm not sure if this goes for every phone or area, but i got $20 off the remix and i live in the buffalo area, so if youve been a customer for over a year and you want a new phone, i would definitely mention or inquire about a discount for being a loyal customer, because they probably won't offer it to you outright...
 
they had sliders in stock? wow... bright point sold out a couple weeks ago and they are not getting any in until October.

edit: oh and this might depend on the area, cause i think they give $30 here
 
aww... $30!? oh well i'm used to paying a lot for cricket phones so any little discount makes me happy :D

and yeah where i go for my phone they had lots of kx5's in stock so maybe your location could get one from another location rather than wait until october?
