I dont know if this is important but the F150 i have is the Lariat model with the chrome package. Heated seats with automatic rear window, supercab, sunroof. My problem is this : i have recently just purchased 8000k HID lights. I had them installed and everytime i would unlock the truck the lights would turn on perfectly. However, when i turn on the truck like actually turn the ignition, one of the HID bulbs wud turn off. Someone told me that if i were to disable the DRL... that would mean everytime i would unlock my truck from the keyfob the lights would not automatically turn on... that id have to get in and turn the light knob to turn them on. I was also told that once this was done... and the truck was started... this would help both HIDs turn on and stay lit due to the electricity going to them only once, instead of first unlocking and then ignirtion. Can someone please help me with this. Much appreciated
