disabling T3 input area visual effects?

When I hide or show input area (graffiti or keybaord) it sildes in or out. Is there any way to make it appear and vanish instantaneously? Even windoze allows to disable this crap :(
 
Not sure of what you mean. The icon in the bottom rightmost part of the Status Bar will toggle the DIA open or closed.

It will not work when the icon is not pure white, just a 'token' sign by the system if the app in question doesn't support toggling the DIA open / closed.

None that I'm aware of. I've used Fitaly and a couple of other skins and I believe this "function" to be a feature of the Virtual Graffiti design. The same thing occurs on my iQue 3600 so it's more of a built-in design feature or as you perceive it a flaw.

I've not come across any skin that doesn't work in this slide fashion but that's not to say none do. You may just have to try different ones but I think you'll probably have to live with the slide effect.
