My wheelchair has leg rests that swing. They make it difficult to get in and out of my bathroom and other doorways. I am looking for a bar that I've seen on wheelchairs that fits at the bottom front and would allow my feet to be straight below my knees. Does anyone know where I can buy one or what the part is called so I can shop for it? It would keep my feet from getting run over by the wheels when I have the leg rests on the chair.
