When Rebecca Willis was banned from the Marshall Depot town dance hall for "dirty dancing" at its Friday night get-togethers, she sued the small North Carolina town. The 59-year-old Willis was accused of provocative dancing in micro-minis; she says she was simply expressing herself and, incidentally, wearing underpants. As of today, the town has agreed to settle for $275,000, although Willis will not be re-admitted to the dance hall because the Depot “has the right to maintain decorum.” [Citizen-Times]
