I feel the need to get outside more. And I'm about to be 20 years old, so no longer have that instinct you have as a kid, to go out and make up something no matter what it may be.
I was thinking about getting a dirt bike, but need some suggestions.
I weight about 150, I am about 5"9', if that matters.
I don't want to take this too seriously and invest a lot of money, just something to do when there seems like there is nothing.
Preferably something used, something strong that can take a beating, and as for the price range I would say about 200-600.
I want something that is also street legal. And something that could go to a decent speed, 80mph is good enough for me.
Also if I am a 20 year old male, I am also concerned about the insurance. If you could take a guess, how much would I be paying monthly for it?
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you

After reading a bunch of the answers I got already, I am thinking into just a dirt bike, not street legal, just something to have fun on out in the trails.
The reason I was hoping to find something street legal, is cause I live pretty in college town and I am pretty close to campus, I just wanted something that could get me there quick and cheaply.
But getting it all street legal, sounds like too much of a hassle and too expensive right now.
I am geting 430 dollars back from my tax refund and I am willing to spend maybe another 2 or 300 on a nice dirt bike.
So basically with a price range as high as about 700 dollars, what would be a good beginner dirt bike, and wheres the best place to look into finding it?
