Dirt bike in the snow?

I recently purchased a 2002 Honda CR125R and there is a few inches a snow on the ground and this is the first time I ever purchased or rode a bike. I haven't really fell that bad yet except for just falling sideways when turning fast. Will I be able to ride better on dirt? Because the snow gets challenging for me :/
