I have a 1989 kawasaki 80 2 stroke and I am rebuilding the engine and carburetor. I was wanting to know if you have to adjust the carburetor, ride it for however long, then change the carburetor settings again. My friend got his 2 stroke engine and carburetor rebuilt. Then he rode it for a while, and after a while he found it was difficult to start.He took it back to the shop and they said that he had to change the carburetor after he rode it for however long. so he had to adjust the carburetor twice
So when you rebuild a 2 stroke engine do you really have to change the carburetor adjustments twice ? And what would you adjust in the carburetor twice ?
