I want to avoid using a video camera for recording gameplay videos of my Wii and PS3 by directly recording what is on my HDTV...here is what I have set up...
HDTV: 3x HDMI (to DVI converter), 1 composite, 1 component, Optical (audio) out, Digital Coaxial Out (via conversion)
PC: Windows XP x86 and WIndows Vista x86 home premium
3.5 GB RAM, 8800GTS 320 MB DDR3 (HDMI/DVI out), plenty of video recording software including Sony Vegas/Acid, Pinnacle Studio, FRAPS, etc.
