Dont make the food spicy or like chinese. stick with a simple italian meal. Steak gorgonzolla goes well with any palate. Make a very nice filet minot. Dont use babeque sause but use a meat baser like an A-1. That make fettichini alfreado and one or two clovers or garlic and pepper.
