I had this party last night. I was talking with this girl and it was all pretty fun and stuff, great atmosphere, anyway, it totally rocked.

Now, I'm always "intimate" with girls. Giving hugs, arms around them, that kind of shit. I'm just like that, not (well, not always) with the intention to make out or get laid or whatever.

Now, back to this girl. She was fucking drunk and when I escorted her outside for some fresh air (which she needed, she couldn't stand or even fucking sit) properly. It took a while, now everybody thinks I made out with this girl.

That isn't that bad actually, and I don't care. What annoys me is the hypocrisy of certain people.

"Oh my God Guido! You kissed her? You have a girlfriend? RUMOR RUMOR RUMOR!"
"Wait, didn't you kiss like... three different guys tonight?"
"That doesn't matter. YOU KISSED HER!"
"No I didn't."
"Everybody says you did. Were you drunk? I bet you were drunk! Because everybody says you did! And everybody can't be wrong!"

It's annoying me. Bunch of fucking hypocrites. Go away.

Oh well, it was a nice party though. Lots of fun and stuff.
 
Rumors are inevitable, people want to be the centre of attention and sometimes that means telling juicy lit'l stories about other people.

Ahhh rumors...the things you will laugh at AFTER you graduate highschool. You know the truth RanC...that's all that matters. As long as your girlfriend believes you, everythings peachy. Rumors suck and they fly fast. Once you get out of high school, you learn to laugh about them. My name was always flying around the rumor mill. I find shit out now and I start laughing. It'll get better. :)
 
It aren't the rumors that exactly bother me, it's more the hypocrisy.

But anyway, gotta run. I need to catch the train to visit my girlfriend. Will be back wednesday and might check this board when I'm back, might.

Rumors are just people trying to stir up shit. Where I work rumors go around like wildfire. Now I just don't believe what I hear in that place now. Whatever people say about me I don't care, I know the truth and I'm happy with that.

So I guess I'm saying who cares? As long as you know the truth is and your honest about things then there is no problem.
 
It seems to me that rumors have the most effect on others, as in who believes/spreads them, if the person in the rumors is less popular than who starts it. They say that these high school rumors end when one leaves high school, but in my experences, it doesn't. I know a guy who was "supposedly" caught masturbating in the bathroom, but there was no proof. He graduated two years ago, yet he still gets insulted, and the rumor still spreads.

At this point, since i'm in my last year of high school, I feel the rumors about me will continue to be spread, even after my departure. The rumors about it me is that I am psychotic and have a hit list. It was started by a jock that tried to insult me, and I spoke back to him, so he spread the rumor around that he had seen a hit list that I had written, which is completely, utterly, bullshit, but the majority of the school believes the lie more than me because i'm not popular and he is. If this rumor gets dropped when I leave school, i'll be happier than I have ever, because then I can return to this town every now and then and not be almost afraid to leave the house, because, right now, I can't go anywhere without someone yelling insults over the fake list, or physically harming me.

But that is, of course, my view.
