DILEMMA!!! BEACH OR ITALIAN RESTAURANT?

K so..
My University friends invited me to go to a formal Italian Dinner with them.. and I said yes.
But just earlier today I was invited by my Church friends to go to a Beach Party the same day!
Personally I LOVE the beach and I know that I would have more fun there! .. But what do I tell my uni friends if I choose that! Cause they will ask me WHY! I don't want to lie.. but what can I use as a reasonable excuse?
 
Pathetic. Really stupid you rather cancel the plan you already made to go to the beach. Its so stupid. Your not a very good friend. I hope whatever excuse you use I hope they will find out so next time they won't invite you every again
