Digital Standard HD?

I am being told by XpressVu, that in order to access the HD channels that are part of the Digital Standard group, I MUST also sign up for the HDTV pack (+$10).
I see no mention of this fact on the XpressVu programming site, and I am therefore suspicious.

Somebody want to comment?
 
The latest edition of Show magazine has the HDTV Pack and the Free HD Channels. Under the heading Free HD Channels the small print says "with a subscription to packages containing the associated digital channel(s)" So if you subscribe to the Digital Standard package, as everyone does, you should get the associated HD channel. Not aware of anything that states you must subscribe to the so-called HDTV Package before receiving the free channels. Most of us have subscribed to the HDTV package and really do not know if the Free HD channels are free or not.

You are wrong Tom...some of the channels that are part of the Digital Standard are free, regardless if you suscribe to the HD Value Pack or not. Look at the first paragraph of my previous answer
