When you want to print your photo's from your SLR, is it best to all way's leave the photo at its original resolution unless you want to crop it? I am guessing the best format is a raw format to print from, like a tiff format or something? I believe it is best to shoot all your picture in raw and sharpen them using software. I am finding that it does make everything sharper, it also seams to make it look bad at the same time. I also compared some of my digital prints to some old film photo and they look so smooth but i will admit not so sharp. Any Information i will be great and appreciated
