Different SIM in Curve - what happens?

Hey guys,

I have a blackberry curve8320 with t-mobile and the BIS package. What happens if i was to put a different SIM card in the blackberry (a friends T-mobile sim card). Will it screw up my BIS settings in any way, or will only the phone work and no internet?

Reason I ask, I will be travelling over seas and plan to put a local country sim card in the phone (the phone has been unlocked) - and want to make sure i don't mess anything up on the phone.

The phone will work but the data will more than likely give you errors. Your own TMo settings shouldn't change, unless you contact the other carrier to enable internet.
 
My undersdtanding from freinds that do this sort of thing is that there is no change to the phone except for the service you are no usidng. Meaning if the second SIM only has phone service then that is all you get. I also have a friend that takes his SIM from one phone to another. One for weekends and the other for the work week. His work week phone is a Blackberry and has no issues moving it back and forth.
