Different Phones Question

Have a question because of the economy

As you all know the data plans for BBs are high. I'm paying $30 a piece 2 BBs. My wife and I both have the BBs and daughter has the Pantech Matrix.

*Have 3 phones: (2 BB Curves 8310 & 1 Pantech)

-Each BB data plan = $30
-Pantech Media plan = $15
-Family plan of 700 minutes
-$30 Unlimited Texting

--> I'm paying approximately $210 per month

I'd like to know the possibility of moving to lesser priced phones in place of the 2 BBs. I seen that I can purchase 2 new phones and then try to seel the BBs.

The one thing I like is the AT&T service (as this is why I'm posting here)

-I'd like 2 phones with 3g / email / internet
-Keep the Family and messaging plans
-Keep the Pantech

Would this save money or am I just dreaming away?

Thanks, Camo

You already have Unlimited messaging for Families. If you get two non-PDA/BlackBerry phones, you can get unlimited data on the three phones for $10 each. That would be a saving of $45.00 over the current arrangement.

Family Messaging $30.00 (No Change)
Three Data Unlimited features at $10 each ($30.00) versus the $75.00 you are now paying.

AT&T sells non-PDA phones with QWERTY keyboards now.

Thanks efparri,

Now I need to go into AT&T and tryout some different phones.

Then put up with the smirk of a representative asking me why I'd like to give up my Blackberries. :slap:
