When I have anxiety, I get extreemly nauseous, and a horrible pain in my chest, as well as not being able to think straight. Now days for the most part, I only seem to get anxiety when a situation arises that I might be around a girl I have a shot with, no matter how little of a shot. This obviously makes it impossible for me to form a relationship.
My question is, is this how most peoples anxiety is? only situational? How does medication help with this? do I take it when I start to feel anxiety? do I take it every day no matter what? or does it depend on the medication you get?

also Ive been reading a lot but I dont seem to see anyone else mentioning sever nausea with their anxiety. For me its hand in hand no matter what, and I throw up 90% of the time. Is this a normal anxiety symptom?

thanks for any advice sorry if its a stupid question.

Hi there,

I've never had an appetite when anxious. I gag trying to take a pill, but don't actually throw up. You might want to try Paxil for anxiety. It worked quite well for my anxiety, but not for my depression. You sound young, so I doubt the doc would prescribe you any tranquilizers, such as ativan or xanax, which you do take as needed.

Best wishes,

JB
