Ok, after you strip off all the chrome and the bells and whistles, mechanically is there really all that much difference in a Toyota and a Lexus? I know the interior appointments are nicer in the Lexus, but drive train and the like?
Well mechanically there isn't a difference since toyota makes lexus but some engine are available on lexus that aren't available on toyota. For example the lexus IS350 that engine isn't available on a toyota model but cars such as the land cruiser and the lx are mechanically the same.
