I have had diffcutly swallowing since I can remeraber over ten years. I went to an ENT and a GI doctor back in 2004. They both said Acid Reflux as well as allergies. I can cough up mucus at any given time that I want. After I cough up the mucus I get a good swallow or two and then it feels like more mucus comes in. It is also worse when I am sick. I recently started back up on Nexium 40 mg. It has really been bothering me this week so I figured I would see if anyone else has this same symptoms or if I should look into it more.

My question is does anyone else have this problem with their ACID Reflux.

Thank you all for your time.

When I had acid reflux, I had difficulty swallowing. Typically, I would be eating chicken or some other type of meat and then would get acid reflux so bad that I would have to stop eating because I could no longer swallow. Sometimes the acid attack would last for hours and I'd be pretty much wiped out for the rest of the day.

However, I've found that by eating more of the so-called 'alkaline' fooRAB that I've been able to almost completely eliminate acid reflux. You can see a list of 'alkaline' and 'acid' fooRAB here:
