I am looking into buying a 2000 Ford F-250 or F-350 Diesel. The dealer says its a F-250 but it says on the truck that its an F-350??? (Its not a dually though) Right now it has about 117,000 miles on it. My question is that I would really like to know how long these things usually last. I have never had a Diesel and I want to make the right decision. I have heard from friends that Diesels usually last a long time but, I don't know for sure. So please let me know by telling me how many miles they usually last. Also give me some ideas that I should add to give it some more pep. Like a chip, exhaust, anything that would make it faster.
