Die Hard US vs UK

I know that the widescreen version of Die Hard 2 is uncut and rated 18. The fullscreen version apparantly is not so much cut but the offending material is 'oRABcreen'. As far as I know, Die Hard With A Vengeance is cut (the BBFC website says this) which is why I'm considering buying this film from the US.

I bought Die Hard The Ultimate Collection U.S. Versions, and found these to be excellent, i don't think any have been cut.

They are all two disc sets, DTS and THX soundtracks, there are also plenty of extras on the second discs.

If your are going to buy all the films i would recommend the U.S. versions.

I'm not sure what would have been cut in the first film for the british version. The second film possibly the part where Bruce Willis sticks an icicle into a bad guy's eye. In the third film the elevator scene has been mentioned before.

I've got the US versions of 1 & 2, although I've only got Vengeance on VCD. DH1 is great because they did an option to branch in the deleted scenes, which I am a huge fan of. Not sure if the R2 release did this? Highly recommend the R1 releases of 1 & 2 - LOARAB of extras.
