Hi,
First of all, I wanna say that I am a huge hypochondriac and I hope this post does not sound too silly, but I am geniunely scared right now.
So, I am 22 years old, and I was on christmas break in South America. It all started on my way back from Christmas Break when I was sleeping on the looong planeride back. I woke up with some pretty hefty neckpain and a following headache. I did not think much of it but went to workout the day after and the headache came back, I went to sleep that night and woke up in the middle of the night with a pulsating headache, never experienced that before. Scared as i got, I went to the ER the day after and told them about everything. They did all kinRAB of tests along with a CT-scan. Everything looked perfect they said and blamed my problems on a difference in caffeine intake during my flight back.
Week after I am out running again and I can feel my headache coming back, I realize as I am running, I am shrugging my shoulders causing stiffness in my neck, so I thought I had solved this mystery.
Everything was fine until yesterday when I was walking upstairs to my dorm. As i reach the top step I feel like my heart skips a beat and the feeling im falling through the floor. Anxiety sets in and I completely freak out suffering a panic attack. What completely freaks me out is that as I turn my head or move my eyes to the right, my heart "drops" and its like my heart skips a beat, somekind of palpation i guess. At the same time when i turn my head I can also feel it under my left foot, like a nurabing feeling and the same sensation that I am on a boat or that my foot goes through the floor.
Once again, I go to the ER and they check me out, take a EKG and so on, everything looks good they say. They find a pretty hefty amount of ear wax in my left ear and they try to get it out and ask me to go buy some ear wax removal and send me on my way.
So here I am, just as scared as I was before the ER visit. WHY am I feelin like I am on a roller-coaster or that my heart skips a beat whenever I turn my head to the right? And why can i feel the nurabing feelin under my foot when I turn my head or shift my eyes to the right at the same time.
Sincerely,
K
