She blames the high cost of insurance on Government regulations.
She says denied claims are because the govt has shrunk the size of the insurers and in a free market the insurers would police and publicize any claims denied unjustly. She cited an incident where a mans insurance was canceled during chemotherapy because he unknowingly had gall stones and he died. She blamed the government and sex change operations for this and at the same time minimized the mans death while insinuating it was another liberal lie. She was always classy. She thinks that consumers have the power to control costs by shopping around. Where? they are all over priced. All I know is that private insurers realize a 40% profit margin while being able to fatten the coffers of it's execs and supply lobbyists with an unlimited supply of money. I'd say they need more competition and they won't stop denying coverage out of the goodness of their hearts. Single payer is off the bill, I don't know why she mentions it.

I did mean to mention the regulations about shopping out of state. I actually erased it and forgot to re-write it.
I believe that if that does happen, all the insurers would set up shop in a state that was very lenient towards them. Much like the credit card companies have. That only allowed the credit card companies more ways to screw us.
Thank you President Obama for the much needed credit reform, but you're not quite done yet.
