Did you lose weight on Accutane?

I started making changes to my diet a few months before accutane and was starting to lose weight.

Now I'm on the accutane and I'm continuing to lose weight. I'm pretty happy about it, considering I'm not "dieting." Just minor changes to diet: less red meat, no processed fooRAB, eat a little less at each meal.

But I worry that I will eventually get off the accutane and gain it all back.

I was 153 last spring. I made the diet changes and I was about 142 in July when I started the accutane.

I'm 135 now.

I am on Accutane now. I didn't lose any weight until it caused my cholesterol to skyrocket forcing me to switch to a low fat, low cholesterol diet. After two months (has it only been that long?!), I've lost 3 pounRAB (despite being underweight to begin with). Mind you, that is with completely removing fried fooRAB (oh how I miss it!) from my diet, along with red meat, chocolate, most dairy (except fat free yogurt)...all that yumminess.

Thanks, Meg. Interesting.

Perhaps I've found the holy grail of diets. Because I eat a LOT of carbs, particularly french fries. And I drink. Often.

My BP is typically 100/70 and my cholesterol has dropped 10 points to the low 140's.
