Did you know that the museum of the Vatican contains thousands of statues and relics of ancient civilizations?

We were astonished at the number of Roman statues, busts, and other relics from long before the birth of Christ. But not only Roman--also Egyptian, Etruscan and a couple of others. What is the attitude of the RC Church towards these pagan ancients? Why did God take so long to decide to send his son Jesus to enlighten the multitudes? Those Egyptians could certainly have used a savior like JC!
