"Gay sex is legal now in India". Apparently the Indian Court took out the law that prohibited gay sex. Makes us wonder that before some gay Indian people probably lived in fear their whole lives?

FYI I'm not trolling, I'm gay myself.

Don't thumbs him down :D

He said "In the Islamic world" and it's 100% true, most Islamic people are totally against same-sex relationships.
Yay! :D I love celebrating! :D

we could spend all day looking at whats left to fix in this world..or we could celebrate this small victory. I for one will celebrate.

Yes, just heard it on the BBC morning news. I always find it interesting when religious leaders and governing bodies state that "homosexuality isn't illegal but having homosexual sex is." That's like saying, "it's legal to have eyes, you just can't use them to see."

In the interview I heard an Indian official pointed out that there is a whole chapter in the Kama Sutra on homosexual sex and that it DOES, in fact, exist in India's long history. Only when the British arrived did laws on homosexual behavior become an issue.

But, for whatever reason, good for them for getting on the Human Rights bandwagon! YAY!!

Oh, good for them, then! =D

The US used to have sodomy laws, which made it illegal to participate in sodomy, which was defined as anal or oral sex--which not only made gay sex difficult, but it took a lot away from straight sex, too!
