Did you get an accurate pregnancy test before your missed period?

It's three days before my missed period and I took a test as soon as I woke up this morning. It was negative, but I have a lot of symptoms.
I'm tired earlier at night
I got a bit nauseous for a min the other day
I'm going to the bathroom about every 3 hours
My breasts are swollen and a little sore

Did you take a pregnancy test before your missed period?
If so, did you find it accurate, or is it most likely too early?
Oh also, I think I MAY be spotting today... I cant really tell bc Im retarded and wore red underwear lol
But when I wipe theres nothing...
But my underwear is darker
 
With my daughter i took a pregnancy test a week before my period was due and it came back positive but it was a very faint line on the test but it was accurate
