...lived somewhere else? You know, just get away from it all, like from people or things that you hate, just to start off fresh and feel free to do what you want to do?

My answer right now would be a great big YES.. I would love to move someplace where I could get a job doing what I was doing before I got laid-off.... Not too many Labor crew leader positions available in State prisons anymore!
Of course, someplace where the weather stays above 65 most of the year would be extra nice...
As for moving to get away from people,things, or whatever - anywhere you go there will always be something that is not to your liking;so best to learn to deal with it.And regardless where you go - you will never be 100% free - there will always be laws and rules to follow somehow...Or you end up at a place like where I use to work {wink!}
