Did you also want to slap Palin when she would dodge questions during the debate?

I mean she dodged a very important topic-healthcare, in order to keep on ranting on taxes..which she had already covered..
and she sounded sooooo scripted!!
greenbob sorry I cant remember that far back, I'm 22..but thanx for your opinion

I always want to slap her. She gets on my last nerve. She pretends she knows what she is doing but it is obvious she doesn't.

Enough with the Palin bashing. The Dems have nothing on her and continue the 'cheap shot' routine hoping it will bring her down.

She's real change for government, not a 30+ year veteran of the same old, same old like Biden. He's politics as usual.

Actually the only one I wanted to slap was Bidan for ogling Palin. Did he really think no one would notice. I also wanted to slap him every time I heard a lie coming out of his mouth.

Its funny what Democrats hear.....only what they want. Unfortunately , this is how modern political debates are handled. They are stump time for the candidates to express their views and ideas. The questions only serve as a guide but not the rule. Check out transcripts of debates in recent times, they all have this quality.

What's the point of having a moderator with questions if you are going to discuss topics that aren't even brought up?

I've gotten used to candidates answering the questions in their own way, but that was a terrible approach in that setting. If Palin isn't going to do many interviews (which I think is a mistake; I'd rather see a candidate to do a bunch of interviews to decrease the pressure), then we do have the right to know what she thinks of a variety of issues.

yea, it was pretty annoying. i feel like with both the P and VP debate that the maccain side still seems to be campaining and not debating the issues.

Not as much as I wanted to slap Biden for repeating the same "Good Ole' Boy" speech that has been heard for the last 30 years.
