Did the officer have a right to enter my home?

My mother called the police on me a few days ago. I love her very much, but I walked out of the house when she told me not to. Well, I got back home and waited a while INSIDE the house. A few minutes later I heard voices on the porch. I just peaked outside the door, then he said come here young lady, so I did. I listened to what he had to say and told him to go on because i really wasnt causing trouble...my mother isnt right in the head...really. Anyway I told him to go on, came in the house and shut the door. Well my mother just got up to come in the house and my dad came in too and they didnt invite the officer in he just followed. But he came in the house and pushed me down in the chair I was sitting in and started screaming at me because I walked away from him. He had no probable cause to come in nor did he have a warrent to come and arrest me...I did no wrong. However, I did hit him once because I got scared when he pushed me down in the chair :(
So I hit him...That was wrong. I spent the night in jail and payed my bond and all. I'm 16. I was just curious, did he really have a right to enter my house in the first place. Also, They put the wrong name on my papers from the magistrate and never read me my rights when I was arrested. So What do you think?
Did he have the right to enter my house and mace me and detain me without reading me my rights? Please, help me. I guess the biggest ? is this:Did he have a right to enter into my house in the first place?
btw i'm a 16 year old female with no criminal record, use of drugs, etc. Squeaky clean.I just got so afraid when he hit me because of some stuff that happened to me in my past. I wont go into detail....I know what I did was wrong, but he had NO reason to enter my home...*Sigh
I hope I dont get jail time over this.

Without knowing the location this occurred but just looking at the facts you presented, yes he did. The "probably cause" to enter was when your mother (whom I presume lives there) called for the police to respond. Once they are on scene after being called they have the responsibility to investigate the complaint fully.
