Did the laws change? or are the UK either very clever or very lucky?

First of all, I don't support the UK or RSA. When they play, I just like to watch a good game of rugby.

Are there changes to the offside line with the new ELV's?

And if so, are South African sides just not taking full advantage? Because it seems like their way back in defense, by comparison to the UK.

Or are South African refs just at a very low standard? And the UK seizing the opportunity?
