did the americans use the london charter as their law in the nuremberg

processes, or did they use other laws? I can't find out whether the charter only applied to the trials before the IMT, or all trials in Nuermberg. Thank you
 
They used the " Charter of the International Military Tribunal. "
It was agreed upon and signed on Aug. 8, 1945 by the governments of the U.S.A., France, the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Northern Ireland, and the U.S.S.R.
