I just want to know if they did, so I would know if I overlooked it or not.
I've been playing my PS3 constantly since I got it last Christmas, both PS3 and PS1 games. I have PS2 games, but I never put one in until today. Then came some text, 'This Software is not Supported', and then GameStop tells me that my PS3 does not support PS2 games whatsoever.
This wouldn't be a problem if I hadn't dug out my PS2 a week ago and sold it on Ebay for 45 bucks. I just had to buy a new PS2 for 100 plus 10 for a memory card. I'm quite miffed at this.
So, did I just miss a warning that was in plain sight in the PS3 package? Or did Sony pull one past me?
I'm sorry, but not playing PS2 games is quite a BIG missing feature to not warn a person about.
I figured I'd overlooked something (that's way too big of a missing feature to NOT warn someone about), and was just pretty angry over it all.
I'm not looking for a lawsuit. Just mad.
Thanks for the nice answers. Not so much for the mean ones, sheesh.
